Ark Online Learning Program will be available for students from grades 6 to 12 who opt for 100% distance learning. SCCS contracts with Edgenuity (https://www.edgenuity.com/)  to provide high quality, standards aligned online courses for Middle and High School students. Edgenuity offers engaging core curriculum, world language, AP®, CTE, and elective courses that are designed to help students in grades 6–12 meet the challenge of Common Core and state standards, as well as graduation requirements. Rigorous, interactive courses keep students focused on the content they need to learn, which is designed to foster the advanced critical thinking and analytical skills they will need in post-secondary education. Students’ progress will be monitored and supported by an SCCS teacher and will include a daily class meeting. High school students can also opt to concurrently enroll at California Community Colleges through the Ark IS Online option.
