Our team has been working over the past several weeks to develop a continuum of plans for reopening schools.  Although we all would love to welcome our students next year to a “normal” school year, we know that with the continued pandemic and guidance from county health that won’t be possible.

 

Together with stakeholders, parent representatives, student representatives, teachers, support staff, union leadership, principals and district leaders, we have developed a reopening plan that addresses different levels of restrictions that may be required to ensure student safety.   As of early July, we anticipate that schools will reopen with “medium restrictions” in place, which means that students will attend school two days a week and participate in distance learning three days a week.  You can read the Reopening Plan at this link SCCS School Reopening Plan.
