Options

Santa Cruz City Schools is providing a continuum of plans for re-opening schools.

Option 1: (K-12)

Return to School 

Attend school under California Department of Education and Santa Cruz County Health Department guidelines.

Option 2: (K-12) Current School

Distance Learning All Year 

Families who choose this option remain in distance learning at their current school for the rest of the 20-21 school year.

Option 3: (K-12) Change School to AFE Home School Program

Learn at home with a more individualized approach to education, combined with the support of school district resources.

Option 4: (6-12)

Change School to Ark

 Independent Study Program 

Ark Online Learning Program will be available for students from grades 6 to 12 who opt for 100% distance learning.
